SINGAPORE: Prime
Minister Lee Hsien Loong will deliver a 2018 National Independence Day
speech on Sunday, August 19 at the Central Institute of Technical
Education in Ang Mo Kio.
Mr Lee will speak Malay and Mandarin from 18:45 to 19:30, and in English from 8.15 to 21.30, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said in a statement on Tuesday (August 14).

The National Day Rally will be broadcast live on Mediacorp TV channels and radio stations.
There will be two parts of speech. The first part, which will air first Lee in Malay followed by Mandarin, will be broadcast from 6.45pm to 7.30pm. Part 2 will be broadcast from 8.15 pm to 9.30 pm where Mr. Lee will deliver in English.
Channel NewsAsia will broadcast Mr. Lee's speech in the original language with a summary of the English text. There will be voiceover from his speech when different from the channel or station language.
